Let Me Introduce Ashley
Ashley received her Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) from New York University in New York, NY. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a certified speech-language pathologist in the states of New York and New Jersey. Ashley has experience working in schools in New Jersey, in addition to North Carolina, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Ashley previously worked as a speech-language pathologist at an elementary school in New
Jersey, working with preschool through third grade students. She is excited to begin working
with students in New York practicing as a speech-language pathologist in the Rochester area.
She is passionate about providing child centered therapy that best supports a child’s needs at
home and in the classroom. Ashley is an advocate for speech-language therapy that is fun and
follows the child’s lead. In her free time, Ashley loves to cook home recipes with her family,
read, and travel! She enjoys drawing and loves to incorporate creativity into her speech
sessions. She is excited to begin exploring the Rochester area with her family, from visiting all
the beautiful parks to trying local food! Ashley looks forward to getting to know more about
your child’s own passions and interests.
